I.           RESUMEN

II.        ABSTRAC:
DIFFICULTIES IN LEARNING MATHEMATICS
It is said that some children have difficulty learning mathematics because they can be applied as the teacher expected, but if they can resolve these problematic situations in the context in which they are developed without resorting to systematic steps. This difficulty is known as dyscalculia. It is important to know the math skills that children should learn to determine where the difficulty lies. In the field neuropsychological also accepted Acalculia the term, which refers to the result of a brain injury suffered after being dominated arithmetic skills. The causes of these difficulties, neurological perspective, may be due to a congenital structural disorder in the brain areas. The cognitive perspective focuses on cognitive and metacognitive strategies. This also may be due to inefficient teaching or a very fast sequence. In conclusion, the teacher must know their children so they can enhance their skills, where the collective work and play are used. Math is know-how, problem solving.
